Your certificate will be sent to you by email. The email message includes the Web Server Certificate that you purchased in the body of the email message.

Copy the certificate from the body of the email and paste it into a text editor, such as notepad to create text files.

1. Open the Server Properties console.
2. Select KEY RING tab to display the key you created above; it will have a yellow question mark.
3. Right-click on your key ring and select Attach Certificate to Key Pair.
4. At the bottom of the KEY RING tab, click on SHOW TRUSTED ROOTS.
5. Click on ADD TRUSTED ROOT to add our Root CA certificate - the file name is “Equifax Secure Certificate Authority” Just cut-and-paste the following certificate text into a text file:

6. Notice that your keyring is now green and ready to use.
7. Click Yes to update the server settings.
8. Restart your server.
9. Be sure to save your private key and certifcate!

Test your certificate by using a browser to connect to your server. Use the https protocol directive, such as https://your.server.com/ to indicate you wish to use secure HTTP.

Please note that the padlock icon on your browser will be displayed in the locked position if your certificates are installed correctly and the server is properly configured for SSL.
